As to whether you can expect any drops, meh. Random(small) chance is doubled.

here's a little secret I kept to myself last triple green event: since the SF bosses drop 2-3 greens, you can actually have all 3 drop for you at once (odds are pretty good you'll get at least 1, often 2) if you solo them. You'll be really suprised if you become proficient at solo farming them how much they drop in double greens where they can drop 3 simultaneously.

...and I just agreed to work this Saturday. Ah well. If I were free that day I wouldn't know which green I'd hunt for my heroes, though.
Ooh, Sorrow's Furnace seems an attractive spot... same as the others here, I'm in it just for the green to drop personally rather than buy it from someone. Maybe tie the green hunting up with a Black Moa quest on a character or something.

Yes, and there in lies my beef. Why not? Why not have double chance of green drops from chests as well as bosses? If they did this, it would make the weekend so much better.
Nevertheless, if I am to go green farming this weekend where should i farm to maximize returns in time spent. (considering sale value and time spent)

No, I don't want to buy one - I want the damned thing to drop for me. Same applies to Victo's Axe - sod your 40/40 sets, with all the drops I've had from Tombs, I can run with and one of several crap/crap sets.

If you still do not get one I would be happy to give you one(have an extra somewhere) just because I agree with you YAKSLAPPER just sounds cool when you say it. Or maybe it reminds me of Ren and Stimpy.
I can stand behind Wroth and drop it after you kill him if you like

No it wouldn't, i'd rather have a gold i can sell unided for 700g than a green that i would merch. There was VERY few green worth anything anymore, and the chests that do drop them, have golds that are worth a hell of alot more.

Eternal Grove and Arborstone. Both places have numerous bosses that are close together and drop greens that are desirable. Boss farming in Eternal Grove will also get you a couple of chests per run, if you're working on Treasure Hunter. Last double-green weekend we did both farms with a team of players, and it was a load of fun.

I've been killing bosses left right & centre skill capping, mapping & vanquishing for the last 2 weeks... Not 1 single green drop! only 300g or a crappy white. Meh!
2 times zero chance = zero

yeah because taking away chances from a silverwing, demoncrest, or an voltaic is a good idea.
/facepalm
You understand that chests always drop something, so if u incease chances for one item to drop, u have to decrease others. The decent to double drop rate for greens in end chests is to double the amount of random items gained, ie 2 in NM, 4 in HM, which i have suggested b4 as an dungeon crawler weekend event, which frankly i don't think sucks ass as much as this one.
